Overview
Reporting to System Administrator of the company, you will work closely with Sr VP, Directors and Managers of the Operation teams to manage internal IT and System needs. You will serve as go to partner to all cross functional internal stakeholders, facilitating alignment between global and local internal teams. As an IT support, it is responsible for the day to day user maintenance, and upgrades for the environment. Additional responsibilities are coordination and delivery of technical support to internal users of systems developed in the company.
Essential Duties:
· Day to day maintenance of user environment such as PCs, software applications for a company with over 500 users locally and remote location nationwide.
· Providing tier1 support for all troubles along with IT operations.
· Create documentation for various IT operation tasks for both IT members and regular staff.
· responsible for tracking hardware as well as software inventory
· assists in maintaining and monitoring common network and authentication protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, SSL, etc.
· maintains endpoint security for desktops, mobile devices, and network
· performs moderately complex systems administration. Monitors and tunes appropriate systems to ensure optimum level of performance.
· Help identifying possible improvements on procedures.
· Assist administrator in planning, testing, and configuration of variety of systems developed.
· Other duties as directed by Upper management.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, and/or Business admin preferred
· No experience as IT position is required, Tier1 IT admin experience is preferred.
· Familiarity with various hardware and software
· Strong attitude of problem solving and performance in a fast-growing help desk environment
· Able to communicate clearly orally and written
· Japanese language is preferred
